The biggest modernization in the Russian city has been in the interior of apartments. Standard layouts have been modified beyond recognition, leading to an expression of individuality as opposed to the uniformity of the Soviet era. The exhibition is based of the contrast of the neutrality of the outside and the richness of the inside of prefabricated large panel housing estates.
