Interior Design Festival

During the Arch Moscow exhibition, interior boutiques on Frunzenskaya Embankment and Komsomolsky Prospekt will showcase works by architects. Five leading Russian architects will present their views on ‘the ways of living’. Their works on the border between design and art will breathe new life into an ordinary lifestyle.

The Tenth Anniversary Festival of Architecture and Interior Design ‘Under the home’s roof…’ will be held from May 27 through June 22, 2008 as a part of the Moscow Architecture Biennale at the Moscow Pavilion (STG at 10 Krymsky val). Following the tradition, the Anniversary Festival will announce a competition in five nominations in the field of public and private interior and two nominations in country home exterior. An exhibition of installations by the winners of the previous nine competitions will be a special feature of the Festival.

The ‘Perspective’ Competition for Young Moscow Architects founded by the Union of Moscow Architects aims at revealing and encouraging young talented architects who work in their field no more than five years after graduation. The competition is biannual. In 2008, the jury members are architects Sergey Kisselev (chairman), Roman Leonidov, Anton Nadtochiy, and the winner of the first Perspective-2006 Alexander Kuptsov.
